Another great find from a box of old VHS tapes! This episode features the late Frankie Kent cooking up a classic Cajun-inspired meal on his local television show “Cooking with Frankie,” filmed at Cahoots Restaurant in Fayetteville, Tennessee. In this episode, Frankie prepares a hearty spread you could enjoy at Cahoots back in the day — pork chops, kielbasa, new potatoes, corn, and all the fixings, Cajun-style. It’s a snapshot of local cooking, personality, and television from the 1990s. This video was produced by Tommy Neece and preserved on VHS until recently rediscovered. I’m sharing it here for those who remember Frankie, Cahoots, and the era of hometown TV — and for anyone who enjoys good food and Southern stories. 📼 Original VHS recording from the 1990s 🍽️ Cajun cooking at Cahoots Restaurant 📺 Local Fayetteville television history If you remember this show, Frankie, or Cahoots, feel free to share your memories in the comments.
