Cheap AND Good. Is that possible? Air DO Boeing 767 to Tokyo | Japan Aviation Series, Episode 3

In this third episode of my Japan Aviation Series, I fly one of Japan’s most interesting domestic routes aboard a rare Boeing 767 operated by Air DO. Traveling from Sapporo to Tokyo Haneda, this flight takes place under dramatic conditions as a typhoon causes delays and turbulence across the region. Air DO, formerly known as Hokkaido International Airlines, is one of the few airlines in the world still flying the Boeing 767 on short domestic routes. In this video, I review their all-economy 767-300, explore the cabin layout, seat comfort, legroom, power outlets, and onboard amenities, and share my full experience from check-in at Sapporo Airport to landing at Haneda. Despite the weather challenges and limited onboard service due to turbulence, this flight offered a unique opportunity to experience a classic widebody aircraft on a short-haul route.
