New frame day! I took my newly built Santa Cruz Bronson out to one of my favorite downhill mountain bike trails in North Lake Tahoe: Tyrolean (Tyrolian) Downhill. This trail is undoubtedly one of the best continuous downhill trails you can find in the area with over 3 miles of berms, chunk, jumps, technical drops and more. The moon dust comes early on this trail so ride it soon for the best results. What is your favorite downhill trail? Let us know in the comments. Ride Logistics: Typically, the ride starts at Tahoe Meadows. Take the Tyrolean Doubletrack trail that runs just east of Old Mount Rose Highway for about 1.5 miles to reach the Tyrolean Downhill trailhead that cuts further east from the doubletrack. From there, just follow the fun. About halfway down, you'll cross Incline Flume trail so watch for hikers in this area. At the bottom, you're spit out into the Diamond Peak ski area parking lot. From there, you can beg for a shuttle or climb Fairview Blvd to Old Mount Rose Highway back up. Subscribe for more: / @dankgnar 📷 / tah.eee 🚲 / strava
