Before it was a theme park, it was a berry stand on a dusty roadside in Buena Park, California. Walter and Cordelia Knott started selling boysenberries during the Great Depression. When crowds began lining up for Mrs. Knott’s famous fried chicken dinners, Walter built a little Ghost Town to keep people entertained while they waited. What started as a simple attraction slowly grew into one of America’s most iconic theme parks. From the wooden rattle of GhostRider to the rumble of the Calico Railroad, Knott's Berry Farm has always felt a little rough around the edges in the best possible way. Wood, grease, lantern light, and boysenberry pie. Not polished fantasy. Something real. This song is a tribute to that history. The berry stand, the Ghost Town, the creaking wood coaster, and generations of families who grew up walking those dusty streets. If you’ve ever smelled the chicken dinners, heard the lift chain pulling, or felt a wooden coaster shake the track beneath you, you know exactly what this place is.
