A Stravaig - No plan a wander with the wind in the hills.

For a few years i have wanted to explore the upper reaches of the Afon Clydach on the western edge of the Mynydd Du range within the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons). We decided on the spur of the moment whilst passing this location not to do our intended walk but to stop and explore this river and gorge with no planned route to simply go for a Stravaig and make the route up as we went along. Good fun but note we are experienced hill walkers and have walked over most places in the Mynydd Du ranges BUT not this gorge. Great fun!
