Hello and welcome to Next Stop News, a Branch of the Smartquest devoted to informing my fan base and the transit community of events which occur throughout the month(s) which they cover. This is June 2025's Queens Bus Network Redesign overview, a follow-up video regarding the analysis I initially conducted in April of 2022. We summarize the route changes taking place within both Phases, which will affect local routes between Q1-Q115 and express routes QM1-QM68. We conduct a route-by-route analysis to thoroughly summarize the changes taking hold. We discuss the closure of the old 165th Street Terminal and the opening of the new 168th Street Terminal, which took place on 6/1/2025. This new terminal plays a pivotal role in the new bus Redesign.
