As teachers get overwhelmed with more responsibilities and pressures being added to their plate, how can they stay composed when student misbehavior or other stressors triggers them? The solution is a perspective called compassionate curiosity. It is a framework for shifting your mindset from a reactive fight or flight-based one to a proactive, conscious, calm and collected one where you can think clearly and make better decisions.
