Vampire: the Masquerade - Lorebooks and misconceptions about the 2 Vlads (Dracul and the Impaler)

In this episode we're going over some misconceptions about the 2 infamous Vlads (Vlad Dracul and Vlad the Impaler), misconceptions which are found in the Vampire: the Masquerade chronicles books for Dark Ages. Far from me to denigrate these books, which are not historical treatises, but aim to create an interesting, fun and dark setting that players of VTM can enjoy (setting which I myself enjoy!). It is sad however that the lorebooks borrowed information from unreliable real life sources, and, sadly, there are a lot of misconceptions still going around about these Voivodes. Luckily, there are researchers and historians such as Adrian Gheorghe, Liviu Cîmpeanu and Andrei Pogaciaș who are calling out the historical inaccuracies and myths.
