Check out other projects we've done on our website: http:/www.phunkiss.com/ Follow us on: / phunkissartisticcreations http:/www.Instagram.com/phunkissartisticcreations We've watched Dave Picciuto make several super cool bandsaw boxes in his videos, and have wanted to make our own ever since. We thought it would put an interesting twist on the design to make the box into the shape of a 'Q' to hold Q-Tips, which we use all the time in our shop. We glued up some pieces of cherry wood we had left over from several of our other projects, drew out the design on the wood, and then cut out the pattern on our bandsaw. Then we added some finishing touches using our trim router and sanded everything down. For the assembly, we added pins to the box to allow the drawer to swivel out. Adding the small piece of acrylic in the top allows you to see inside the box, and keeps the inside dust free. The wipe on poly brings out the beauty of the wood, and gives the finished piece a nice warm glow. This is a perfect addition to any bathroom. We decided it was too nice to keep in the shop! Thanks and enjoy! Please check out one of Dave Picciuto's bandsaw box videos here. He also has a great book on how to make your own bandsaw box, if you want to try it for yourself. • How to Make a Bandsaw Box with Two Drawers
