This One Should Have Been a Total Loss… Full Dresser Repair Tutorial I was contacted by one of my awesome followers stating she was getting rid of some of her mothers’ furniture and asked if I wanted to pick up this dresser. I think I am so fortunate to have such amazing followers, so of course I wanted to pick it up! When I picked up this 8-drawer dresser, I was told it had “a little damage.” What she meant was — it had been hit by a car. Oopsie!! One drawer was completely shattered, the support board was cracked, the finish was very worn with lots of scratches, dents and dings. Nothing I can’t tackle! Most people would’ve hauled it to the dump… but not me. In this full-length makeover, I walk you through every single step of the repair and refinishing process — no shortcuts, no fluff — just real restoration work.
