Life processes part- 12 Excretion 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. In this video we study about Excretion in plants and animals involves the removal of metabolic waste products. Plants, lacking specialized excretory organs, release waste through various methods like transpiration, shedding leaves, and releasing substances like latex. Animals, on the other hand, have specific excretory organs like kidneys and utilize diverse methods like ammonotelism, ureotelism, and uricotelism, based on the type of nitrogenous waste they excrete Excretion in Plants: Plants don't have dedicated excretory organs like animals. They release waste products like water (through transpiration), carbon dioxide (during respiration), and oxygen (during photosynthesis). Other waste materials include latex, resins, and gums. These are often stored in vacuoles or released through shedding of leaves, stems, or bark. Excretion in Animals: Animals have specialized excretory organs and systems to remove metabolic waste. Based on the primary nitrogenous waste produced, animals can be categorized as follows: Ammonotelic: Animals that excrete ammonia as their primary nitrogenous waste. This is common in aquatic animals like bony fish and aquatic amphibians because ammonia is highly soluble and easily excreted in a watery environment. Ureotelic: Animals that excrete urea as their primary nitrogenous waste. This is seen in cartilaginous fishes, amphibians (like frogs), and mammals. Urea is less toxic than ammonia and requires less water for excretion, making it suitable for terrestrial environments. Uricotelic: Animals that excrete uric acid as their primary nitrogenous waste. This is common in reptiles, birds, and insects. Uric acid is a relatively non-toxic, insoluble compound, allowing for efficient water conservation. Aminotelic: Animals that excrete amino acids as their primary waste. This is observed in some mollusks and marine invertebrates Releated Quarries life processes excretion class 10, life processes excretion class 10th, excretion class 10 life processes, excretion in life processes class 10, class 10 biology life processes excretion, class 10 biology life processes excretion in hindi, life process excretion in plants, life processes class 10 science biology excretion, life processes, life processes pyq, life processes rapid revision, life processes one shot, life processes class 10 science biology excretion in humans, life processes class 10 animation excretion in animal, excretion in animals, excretion in animals neet, excretion system in animal, excretion in animals in hindi, excretion in lower animals, excretion in animals and plants, excretion in animals imals class 10 excretion in plants, excretion in plants cbse, excretion in plants clas, excretion in plants neet, excretion in plants ncert, how excretion in plants takes place, what is excretion in plants, excretion in plants in urdu, class 7 excretion in plants, excretion in plants class10, excretion in plants in hindi, explain excretion in plants, biology excretion in plants, excretion in plants process Important links Life processes part-1 • Life processes part 1 introduction Life processes part-2 • Life processes part -2 class 10 [Autotro...
