Namibian man stranded in Brazil desperate to return home

By: Selma Ikela A 45-year-old Namibian man stranded in Brazil is seeking assistance to return home. The man, Daniel Petrus Botha, who says he is from Walvis Bay, was left stranded in the South American country after he was robbed by criminals who took his personal documents, including his passport, cellphone, and money. At the moment, Botha lives on the streets in a plastic structure in Barra Funda, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. A Namibian national, Trofimus Shimutwikeni, who currently works in Brazil, found Botha on the street and reached out to the media house for assistance. In a video provided, Botha pleaded for help.
