A must-watch for lovers of rare bandishes and the nuanced beauty of Desi Todi. 🌅 Gaan Parimal (गान परिमल) was a special concert featuring rare Khayal compositions in uncommon Ragas from the repertoire of Ustad Sindhe Khan, Prof. B. R. Deodhar, and Dr. Ashok Da Ranade. This thematic program, curated by Dr. Chaitanya Kunte under the ‘Performance from Archives’ series, marked the 10th anniversary of the ‘Dr. Ashok Da Ranade Archives’ and was organized by Maharashtra Cultural Centre, Pune. The concert was held on Sunday, 27th October 2024, at Jyotsna Bhole Auditorium, Hirabaug, Pune.
