TOWN OF SILER CITY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGULAR SESSION MEETING AGENDA Monday, January 12, 2026 6:30 PM 1. REGULAR MEETING CALLED TO ORDER 1.1. INVOCATION - COMMISSIONER BOONE 1.2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 1.3. RECITATION OF TOWN OF SILER CITY MISSION STATEMENT – COMMISSIONER BROWN To advance a framework for our success through balanced governance, dynamic partnerships, and an engaged community. 1.4. ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AGENDA and APPROVAL OF AGENDA Items may be added or removed if necessary. 3. CONSENT AGENDA Consent Agenda items are non-controversial routine items unanimously recommended for approval by all involved parties. A single vote may be taken for the approval of ALL consent agenda items. Any individual council member may pull items off the consent agenda to discuss them. General personnel policy issues may not be considered in a closed session. A public body may not consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, appointment, or removal of a member of the public body or another body and may not consider or fill a vacancy among its own membership except in an open meeting. Final action making an appointment or discharge or removal by a public body having final authority for the appointment or discharge or removal shall be taken in an open meeting. 12.
