Kinagashi Happo Chalet is a roomy, two-storey duplex townhouse situated in the Hokujo district – the quiet residential neigbourhood just above Hakuba Station. The chalet is split into two townhouses, Kinagashi Happo Chalet East and West, that mirror each other and offer similar amenities. In quiet Hokujo you’ve got rice fields – a perfect setting for privacy and a nice change from the tight-packed busy streets of central Happo or Echoland. Inside, think modern Japanese home design with wood and stone tile floors, and tall windows looking out over fields and forests. You have modern, comfortable furniture and plenty of space for everyone to gather or spread out. Each chalet has 2 bedrooms set in an upstairs loft setup. Living is open-plan with a roomy atrium ceiling and cushy couches set facing a wood burning stove (firewood available for a fee). Your own private terrace deck with table and chairs gives you a nice place to hang out and be even closer to nature.
