This video shows how to file a formal DMCA counter-notification on YouTube if your video has been taken down either by a direct DMCA claim or if you have appealed a reinstated content ID claim and the copyright claimant respond with a takedown notice. It shows the example of an anime music video that was taken down by Warner Music Group (WMG) after I disputed a content ID claim on the video that made it blocked on mobile devices. I believe the use of music in AMVs constitutes fair use under US copyright law, so I filed a counter-notice to get my video restored.
