This Warrior Sequence is taken from the Yin Yoga Tradition. It looks complicated to begin with, but it is a very simple sequence. I love it because you can repeat it often and you can feel yourself building both strength in your body and also energetic strength. Things to note: (i) you are not mirroring me so I would suggest you watch it carefully first before doing (ii) pivoting on your feet is important so that you do not damage your knees, so watching it first is even more important and (iii) on inhaling we are raising limbs or the body and exhaling we are lowering limbs or the body. The location of this film is the ruins of Padley Manor near Grindleford in the Peaks. it is thought to have been built originally in the 14th and 15th centuries. It is known for the Padley Martyrs, two Roman Catholics priests who were found here and put to death for their faith in 1588. You can see the remaining Chapel in the background of this video.
