I show the worst spring weed in the lawn and teach you how to kill it without killing your grass. The weed is poa annua. I can't wait for the weather to warm and poa to be gone for another year. There are weed control options to control poa. I use specticle flo or prodiamine in the fall as pre emergent herbicide to control poa annua or annual bluegrass. For post emergent control, I use Revolver herbicide on bermuda and zoysia lawns. Other options are celsius, katana or negate. It is a nasty weed that can take over the lawn.
