Essentially to its inner soul, full of mystery and mysticism. Yes, the muffled autumn, a waiting time... with its silences and its colors, whispers feelings of nostalgia and invites us to meditate. Or maybe it brings us forward, in the depths of what will be the autumn of life... encouraging to take a break and listen to a nature that begins to transfigure itself, far from a society that presumes to know everything, reminding us that we must still learn what really matters in life. Video footage entirely captured in the beautiful Vallée Étroite, in France on the border with Italy. My name is Roberto Bertero, I am a photographer-musician from Turin. I have been exploring the Alps for as long as I can remember and since 15 years I am devoted to photograph the most significant moments, up there, in the high mountains! I’ve opened this YouTube channel, in order to document some of my adventures also through the video; a new experience for me, which I find very fascinating. It goes without saying that the photographs I include in my videos are all available for sale on my website. I usually hike alone, or sometimes in the company of my girlfriend. I believe that only in this way is it possible to hear the subtle intimate essence of certain places. All places naturally speak to us, it is up to us to refine our ability to listen. My aim is to share my alpine experiences lived at all hours and in all seasons. So, through my works - which I hope will be more and more refined in capturing mountain's soul - you will see the Alps in all possible light conditions: twilight, dawn, daylight, sunset, blue hour, night… in the moonlight or beneath the magical mantle of the Milky Way.
