Welcome to my 21st video posted on YouTube :-) This episode is dedicated to my favorite summit of Mount Civrari: Punta della Croce. The Civrari is not an isolated peak but a small massif. Its main summit is named Punta Imperatoria (2.302 m); in the massif are also located Torretta del Prete (2.264 m), Punta della Croce (2.236 m), that you will see in this video, Monte Rognoso (1.952 m) and, in a wider sense, Punta di Costafiorita (also shot in this video) and Punta Sourela (1.777 m). The Civrari is a massif that I have explored extensively and this video represents my desire to collect quality material dedicated to it, which I trust will increase over time. My name is Roberto Bertero, I am a photographer-musician from Turin. I have been exploring the Alps for as long as I can remember and since 15 years I am devoted to photograph the most significant moments, up there, in the high mountains! I’ve opened this YouTube channel, in order to document some of my adventures also through the video; a new experience for me, which I find very fascinating. It goes without saying that the photographs I include in my videos are all available for sale on my website. I usually hike alone, or sometimes in the company of my girlfriend. I believe that only in this way is it possible to hear the subtle intimate essence of certain places. All places naturally speak to us, it is up to us to refine our ability to listen. My aim is to share my alpine experiences lived at all hours and in all seasons. So, through my works - which I hope will be more and more refined in capturing mountain's soul - you will see the Alps in all possible light conditions: twilight, dawn, daylight, sunset, blue hour, night… in the moonlight or beneath the magical mantle of the Milky Way.
