Welcome to my 22nd video posted on YouTube :-) We are always in a rush, stress reigns supreme.... let's calm down, returning to nature and regaining capacity to stop and contemplate, listening to its sounds. There are no tests, there are no gymnastic performance to accomplish. We don't need to talk, we don't need to always put ourselves at the center of attention. Just learn to step aside and leave space for what will follow us, yes, when mankind will no longer be on this planet and nature will regain possession of the celestial object we call Earth, speaking undisturbed again. In our quick passage what we can do smart is at least listen to it! AudioVideo captured in the woods of the beautiful Vallée Étroite (France). I’ve captured the sounds with my Zoom H5 audio recorder (96kHz / 24bit), while I’ve shot the video with my Canon 5D Mark IV. My name is Roberto Bertero, I am a photographer-musician from Turin. I have been exploring the Alps for as long as I can remember and since 15 years I am devoted to photograph the most significant moments, up there, in the high mountains! I’ve opened this YouTube channel, in order to document some of my adventures also through the video; a new experience for me, which I find very fascinating. It goes without saying that the photographs I include in my videos are all available for sale on my website. I usually hike alone, or sometimes in the company of my girlfriend. I believe that only in this way is it possible to hear the subtle intimate essence of certain places. All places naturally speak to us, it is up to us to refine our ability to listen. My aim is to share my alpine experiences lived at all hours and in all seasons. So, through my works - which I hope will be more and more refined in capturing mountain's soul - you will see the Alps in all possible light conditions: twilight, dawn, daylight, sunset, blue hour, night… in the moonlight or beneath the magical mantle of the Milky Way.
