Egg Pulusu Recipe Hello Everyone! Welocme back to YellowSpice. Try this authentic fried egg pulusu and enjoy the dish! Eggs Preparation Boil your desired number of eggs Cut each egg in half Pour some oil in a pan and fry the eggs After they are slightly fried, add a tsp of salt, chili powder, and turmeric powder Mix them around slightly to blend all of the spices Once they are fully fried, remove the eggs to a bowl In the same pan, add some more oil and drop 4-5 green chilies Add in 3 large diced onions as well Fry onions until they are soft and then add salt to taste Once the onions are slightly brown, add in 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and 2-3 tsp of chili powder Mix thoroughly Soak tamarind into some hot water, here i took around a small ball size tamarind Add some more water an squeeze the pulp Pour the tamarind water into the pot Mix well Add water to your desired consistency and cover and cook After a few minutes, add some chopped jaggery to the boiling pulusu Adding jaggery is optional but this gives nice taste to the dish Mix well and add the eggs Mix thoroughly, and make sure that the masala eggs are fully dipped in pulusu Check salt and adjust as needed Your egg pulusu is ready!
