How do these pieces make you feel?

Wrote these two little pieces around a year ago and was originally going to make the set larger but no new ideas came to me. I decided to call them sketches because, firstly, they depict a little scene like a sketch would, but secondly because I wrote the ideas as they came to me and did very little revising and polishing. This was therefore good practice with just getting pieces done without being a perfectionist over them and I am fairly happy with the results even though they are clearly rough in places.
