This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. How Buz Luhrmann pushed me out of my comfort zone and into becoming a more complete & functional (& international) dentist. Though not born and raised in Wooster, Dr. Gustafson "found" Wooster when he was a student at the College of Wooster. He went on to spend five years in Cleveland, where he obtained his DDS from Case Western Reserve University and then spent an additional year completing a residency program at Metro Health in Cleveland. In 1983, he moved to Wooster and worked out of the office of Dr. Ted Crawford before taking over the practice of Dr. Harry Weckesser. In 2010, Dr. Gustafson moved his office to its present location on the north side of Wooster. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
