In this tutorial I'll show you how to make the doubled-bladed pike lightsaber wielded by the Jedi Temple Guards in Star Wars. Had requests for this from Carrieray and connor. This lightsaber is rather time-consuming to make because of all the different layers. But since everything is mostly just cardboard and craft foam, it's still very inexpensive to put together. I couldn't figure out how to make it bend in half and lock in place (at least not with the materials I had on hand, and all the stores were closed at the time), so this one does have to stay in open position. MATERIALS USED: Cardboard tubes of different diameters (I used wrapping paper and baking paper tubes) Scissors or utility knife Electrical tape Metallic copper paint (https://amzn.to/2G1wQgX) and brush Silver adhesive foil (https://amzn.to/2oy4rT9) or silver paint White school glue (https://amzn.to/2DGICJe) and Foam brush (https://amzn.to/2nlY9rb) Metallic gold paint (https://amzn.to/2BBaAUP) Metallic silver paint (https://amzn.to/2D7mnMq) Craft foam scraps Black paint (or more electrical tape) 2 red beads or sequins Hot glue gun Scrap neon green poster board or paper 2 random beads Gold adhesive foil (https://amzn.to/2n6gv0W) --------------------------------------------- STAY CONNECTED - Follow The Woodland Elf on Instagram: / amberthewoodlandelf Follow The Woodland Elf on Facebook: / thewoodlandelf Follow The Woodland Elf on Twitter: / thewoodlandelf Follow The Woodland Elf on Pinterest: / thewoodlandelf Website/blog: https://thewoodlandelf.com ---------------------------------------------- Hope you enjoy this video. I find that people often want to know exactly what I use, so I've started including exact links when I can find them. However, it's simply meant as a guide and you can substitute with whatever comparable brands/products you might have available in your own area. Also some of the links may be affiliate links, which means I may receive a small commission from the company if a sale is made. It doesn't cost you any extra; it's just a simple way to help support my work on this channel. (I just figured, hey, as long as I was posting the links anyway, I might as well make them affiliate links) Always use caution and take appropriate safety measures when creating.
