About Summaya Elhussain Summaya is a language instructor, Cambridge certified teacher trainer, a member of the E-exams Committee, and an Academic Writing Specialist at the ELI Academic Writing Centre. She has a Post-graduate certificate, a Trinity Certificate, and an MA in TESOL from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. She also has a University of Harvard certificate in differentiated language instruction and inclusiveness of language learning. She has recently been awarded a post-graduate certificate in teaching English for academic purposes (TEAP) with merit from the University of Leicester. Additionally, she was awarded a professional certificate in language teaching and further education teaching from the University of Huddersfield, UK institutions. Summaya gained insight into and knowledge of aspects of multiculturalism and global citizenship in language learning via her role as an ESOL tutor in the UK and a language instructor in Saudi Arabia. She is equally empowered with an advanced understanding in standardized and highly ethical language teaching and facilitation of students’ learning. Her international work experience provided her with the skills of excellent and distinguished practice in building rapport with her students and providing pleasant learning experiences and environments. As a PhD candidate with a focus on academic English and academic writing, she aspires to empower her students with the essential concepts and skills in this spectrum.
