On 5 February 2025, EXPOSIM hosted its first symposium on human exposome research and public health, bringing together researchers, policymakers and stakeholders from across Europe and beyond. Titled “Cumulative Exposures, Collective Impact: Advancing Public Health Through Exposome Research,” the symposium explored how exposome science can support health prevention strategies, environmental health research and evidence-based policymaking. 🎤 Speakers featured in this recording: Prof. Gary W. Miller, Columbia University (USA) Exposomics: from wild concept to scientific reality Gerardo Sanchez Martinez, European Environment Agency (EEA) The kind of exposome research we could use at the European Environment Agency Alex Mulet Indrayanti, European Commission (DG RTD) EU-funded research and innovation on the human exposome: looking within and beyond The session was opened by Prof. Dr. Manosij Ghosh (KU Leuven), EXPOSIM co-coordinator.
