Days 21-28: After my fourth chemo cycle, I had the triple chemo cocktail and felt tired but alright. Turns out my body had other ideas. Undertaking #chemo compromises your immune system. It's more important than ever to practice good hygiene, wear a mask, and up your immunity with a healthy diet ... WAIT... I WAS DOING ALL THOSE THINGS! Yet, I still got pneumonia!!! These things happen on chemo and it's all part of cancer treatment and cancer awareness but it doesn't mean this common and dangerous chemo side effect is easy :( At least I got to add another antibiotic to my "cancer stuff" bag... As always, none of this is medical advice but just my own experience and opinion. If you notice any symptoms or feel unwell, PLEASE consult a doctor!!! #breastcancer
