Errata - 3:48 - Flexibility, not elasticity :)) In this episode we're taking a very quick look at a few sorceries in Vampire: the Masquerade, mainly Thaumaturgy, Giovanni Necromancy, and Setite Sorcery (Akhu), hopefully showing that these magics are based on different principles and distinct practices, that are also influenced by (or influence) a certain culture and morality, though we are barely scratching the surface here. The books I've used in the making of this episode can be found here: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/... https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/... In Vampire: the Masquerade, magic doesn't exist simply as mechanics and cool, empowering effects, but as cultural/religious/occult practices which shape the practitioner. This not only makes it challenging to play sorcerers, but adds a whole level of depth to the roleplay. This is why I believe having separate rules for each sorcery is very nice! In the following Vampire episode we'll be taking an in-depth look at my favorite type of magic, Koldunism. Mwhahahahaha Enjoy!
