Next, I head over to Yuyuan Old Street—a vibrant area full of local charm, where you can see historic buildings and experience authentic Shanghai street vibes. From there, it’s off to The Bund for a close-up look at the famous skyline views. To end the day, I indulge in some of the best xiao long bao soup dumplings Shanghai has to offer—a must-try for any foodie visiting the city! Day 2 kicks off with a delicious meal at a local eel restaurant before I dive into Shanghai’s fashion scene. I start with shopping in Xintiandi, a stylish area where historic architecture meets modern design, followed by visits to Maison Prince and TX HuaiHai Mall for a taste of Shanghai’s upscale and trendy side. Afterward, I explore a vintage shop in the French Concession, known for its old-world charm and boutique finds. I end my shopping adventure with a meal at a nearby restaurant and cap off the day with a refreshing matcha ice cream—the perfect way to cool down and wrap up my first two days in Shanghai.
