Day 7 – December 7,2025 Location – Veldt, outside Mobliz Party – Terra Lv. 19(Hp 611/611, Mp 159/159) Edgar Lv. 18(Hp 559/628, Mp 138/138) Sabin Lv. 18(Hp 568/639, Mp 135/135) Setzer Lv.18(Hp 556/556, Mp 141/158) Time – 11:20 Steps – 28,924 Gp – 5,909 Today was going to be short session. I left the pit where I fought Ifrit and Shiva and made my way up the stairs and I fought Number 024. I had a few snags in this fight, I was able to steal a Rune Edge from him, but he kept confusing party members or knocking some of them out using Magnitude 8 (making me wish I had cast Float on everyone before the fight started.) With Number 024 defeated, I freed the trapped Espers, got a lot of magicite and met Cid. Kefka tried to plant seeds of doubt, making it seem like Celes was a spy for the empire. She proves to Locke that she isn’t and teleported herself away with Kefka and his men. Cid and the party took an elevator ride down to the railways. I checked over my set up, and Cid helped us escape down the railways while he’d kept Kefka busy. My ride on the rails was pretty easy, mostly relying Gau using Bolt 2 from the Hazer rage. I fought Number 128 and his blade arms. He did manage to inflict stop on Cyan, twice and even knocking him out near the end of the battle; I revived him just in time though. I was lucky enough to steal a Tempest from this boss. A lot of this battle was to getting my HP back up, other than that I used normal attacks and Bolt 2 from Hazer. I made my way out of the railways, but as I was walking to the save point, I got into a fight with a Chaser and some Pipsqueeks. The Chaser managed to knock out Gau with a Plasma attack, this worried me as my characters health was low and I hadn’t saved yet. I did win this fight, used a tent and saved before making my way down to Setzer. When I made it on the Blackjack, I got into a fight with the Cranes. Now since I had the Tempest equipped on Cyan, I was able to get a Wind Slash to hit both machines when he attacked. Gau used Aqua Rake from Anguiform, a Chocobop from Setzer, while Locke healed the party when damaged was dealt. With the battle won, we automatically flew to Zozo, met Terra and watched a flashback and understood everything about Terra, her lineage and what the Emperor wanted with the Espers and the Sealed Gated. I went through this very quickly because the next thing I needed to do was the most tedious thing I’ll have to do in this entire playthrough – go to the Auction House. I could go to Narshe first and get my next objective, but I wanted to get this out of the way first. I spent a good chunk of today’s session going antiquing. I first went to the armor shop, sold some unwanted items I didn’t needed (mostly because I didn’t think I had enough money) and made my way to the Auction House. After countless Cherub Downs, talking Chocobos and Cure Rings later, I got the magicite I needed – Zoneseek and Golem. After my time in Jidoor, I flew first to Albrook, then I realize I made a wrong turn, hopped on the Blackjack and flew to Tzen. There I talked to the thief in the woods next to the relic shop and bought Sraphim for 3,000 gp. I went back on the airship, changed my party to Terra, Edgar, Sabin and Setzer, arranged my Espers and equipment and flew to the Veldt. I landed, went into Mobliz and mailed another letter for the soldier. After that I went back onto the Veldt and saved my game.
