I had my hopes up when I ordered this lens, but after testing it out, I grew very unexcited about the results. It's not a horrible lens. It's possible to get decent footage with it. It's just not really a cinema lens. It's a cheap photography lens with a long focus throw. Anything below t 2.8 gets soft. Anything below t 2.0 is unusable. The lens is fully manual, which is great and a reason I was looking to buy this. The lens would be used for production work in controlled situations. I was OK with the fact that it had to be limited to t 2.8, but was upset that it was not a true micro four thirds lens. It was a lens built for Canon bodies, but had a different mount to fit a micro four thirds body. This does not make it a M 4/3 lens. I already have adapters for my canon glass. The really bad part about this lens was focus breathing. If a lens is being touted as a cinema lens, there should be no focus breathing. Like, none. So, I would have kept this lens if it didn't have the focus breathing issue. But to have a lens that has focus breathing and has nothing but junk to offer when it's opened up and isn't designed for the camera that its mount is made for, I couldn't justify the cost. Anyway, I was underwhelmed to say the least.
