Having somehow not been satisfied by my first run of this modpack, Goose returns to a brand-new RLCraft series, featuring a world that has been the unwilling recipient of an extreme weight loss program. Gone are all of the dungeons and biomes and useful things that you generally need to survive, and instead what replaces them is a very, very large amount of empty air, a problematically large population of territorial, sentient flatulance monsters, and a single floating island. The goal? Beat the game... obviously. RLCraft is a modpack made (in)famous by its complete disregard of generally accepted community practices regarding Minecraft's core gameplay, and is often perceived as being both punishingly difficult and highly unfair. The pack re-imagines the difficulty curve of the game, introduces hundreds of new mobs, and completely restructures combat for the single, sole, and only purpose of making you the weakest thing in the game - and then expects you to scrape and claw your way out of that position. Failure is not a question of 'if', but 'when', 'how often' and ' why haven't you given up yet'. I beat this modpack in a single world without dying once. This was, somehow, not difficult enough for me, so in my second installment of self-flagellation, packaged in bite-sized chunks for your viewing pleasure, I decide to beat the game in an even more obnoxious way.
