The song is the seventh track on the collaborative studio album ''Class Of '55: Memphis Rock & Roll Homecoming''. The album was released on May 26, 1986, by America/Smash Records. It was recorded between September 17–20, 1985, at the historic Sun Studio and American Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. The track was produced by Chips Moman and written by Michael Smotherman. In addition to the album release, it was featured as the B-side to the 1986 singles "Birth Of Rock And Roll" and "Sixteen Candles''. The project was a reunion of the surviving members of the famous "Million Dollar Quartet" (Lewis, Perkins, and Cash), with Roy Orbison filling the spot of the late Elvis Presley. The session served as a 30th-anniversary tribute to their collective beginnings at Sun Records in the mid-1950s.
