Leaving our beloved town of Vinales, we take the road to Puerto Esperanza, then continue through San Cayetano via Santa Lucia. Passing Santa Lucia you will see the sign that announces the way to the Cayo. As you can see, the road is quite bad, that's why it took us 2 hours to get there. Cayo Jutia has a ranch where they offer food and drinks starting at 1230 pm. Next to the ranchon is the Nautical area where you can rent a kayak, the boat in case you want to know the beach of the stars, the sun loungers and beach umbrellas as well. The sea is crystal clear and the sand is very fine. On a sunny day like the one we had, you can admire the different shades of green in the water.
