I'm 56, and I've noticed something fascinating happening among my friends - we're all becoming more spiritual. Not religious, but connected to something deeper than we were taught to value in our academic, achievement-focused years. In this video, I share my own journey from being completely academic (flashcards at toddler group, early school, straight through university) to discovering an inner knowing that changed everything. It started with a powerful encounter at the British Museum - seeing the grave goods of a female shaman who lived 8,500 years ago. There was a hum, a vibration I could feel even through the glass case. From there, I found myself drawn to ancient sites like the cup and ring marks at Kilmartin - Neolithic carvings that seem to pulse with connection across thousands of years. And all of this has completely transformed my creativity. I talk about how this isn't about learning spirituality - it's about recognising what we already know. It's about drawing inwards rather than seeking outwards. And for so many midlife women, it feels like coming home.
