Oz Weather to Jan 31: Tropical lows, WA rain & southern heat

There are three tropical lows to monitor in Australia, although at this stage only one (around the Kimberley) has a higher chance of becoming a tropical cyclone and affecting land. Heat will be the main feature for much of Australia in the final days of January, although the south-west corner of WA and around Tas will still have some cooler airflows in the mix. A lot of people in Vic and SA in particular have been asking me when rain is coming - sadly we don't see much, if any, coming for the rest of January. We show you what is driving the nation's weather and where any showers, thunderstorms and low pressure will be.
