I’ve made this such bake few times over the holidays and it was a hit! It’s made creamy imitation crab and shrimp and baked over sushi rice! It has all the flavors of a California roll but in a super easy casserole form!😃 Sushi Bake Ingredients 1 lb imitation crab, shredded and chopped 8 oz shrimp, sliced into thirds 2/3 cup mayo 1 1/2 cups dry sushi rice or Calrose rice 3 tablespoons rice vinegar 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 7 tablespoons Furikake rice seasoning, divided Optional - nori/seaweed sheets Directions Cook rice. Combine rice vinegar, sugar and salt in bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Stir mixture into cooked rice. Combine imitation crab, shrimp, mayo and 2 tablespoons of Furikake in a bowl. Spread sushi rice onto the bottom of a 9 x 9“ baking dish (or something similar in size). Sprinkle over 3 tablespoons of Furikake. Spread seafood mixture over the rice and sprinkle over another 2 tablespoons Furikake. Preheat oven to 400° and bake for 20 minutes.
