Every year since 1934, The Verboort Sausage Dinner is an annual fundraiser put on by the community of Verboort, Oregon. It takes months to put it together with the help of many volunteers. Along with handcrafted smoked sausage, sauerkraut is one of the primary products served. Here you will see over 20,000 pounds of cabbage turn into over 50 barrels of sauerkraut.
