Prior to BDO, Mitu held senior executive and board roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank and BNP Paribas India Solutions, where she led some of the most complex people transformations in the financial services ecosystem. As Managing Director, Head of HR, and Board Member at BNP Paribas India Solutions, she scaled the organization from 3,000 to 12,000 employees, built a global HR shared services platform across APAC and EMEA, led major M&A integrations including Deutsche Bank Prime Services, and played a critical role in group-wide succession planning and DEI strategy. At Kotak Mahindra Bank, she anchored one of India’s largest technology-led workforce transformations, building the Tech@Kotak talent architecture and aligning culture, capability, and rewards to a digital-first future. Recognized for her board readiness and governance depth, Mitu brings strong capabilities in fiduciary oversight, risk management, leadership continuity, ESG and CSR stewardship, and cross-border stakeholder engagement. She has led organizations through high-stakes change—including pandemic resilience, large-scale workforce relocations with zero legal escalations, and strengthened people-risk and compliance frameworks—always guided by the belief that organizations transform only when people do.
