Roshan (Retd) is a distinguished maritime operations and governance leader with 28+ years in the Indian Navy, shaped by early training at the National Defence Academy and inspired by Sam Manekshaw. He built a leadership philosophy grounded in decisive action, professional mastery, and leading by example. He commanded frontline ships, managed a ₹200 crore operations budget, and drove pan-Navy safety and environmental frameworks aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 across 150+ platforms. As Joint Director of Naval Operations, he was part of core teams for Operation Blossom and Operation Rahat, repatriating 4,000+ civilians through complex multi-agency coordination. He also led logistics reforms, audit protocols, fraud-prevention tightening and AI-enabled predictive maintenance, strengthening resilience, compliance and sustainability. An alumnus of IIM Mumbai and the Joint Services War College (General Laurier Prize), he combines strategic foresight with governance depth. He oversaw HR for 450+ officers, championed mentorship, crisis morale and transparent leadership—whether during piracy missions, storms or COVID operations. He views AI as a decision-support enabler and sustainability as an efficiency driver. Now transitioning to board roles, he brings expertise in risk management, ESG, digital transformation, stakeholder diplomacy and preventive governance—aligning operational excellence with long-term value creation.
