His career includes reporting to CEOs and Boards at Desert Fruit (Namibia), establishing Kuwait’s first commercial date palm tissue culture lab, leading 2,000+ hectare farm operations, and delivering large-scale feasibility studies such as Afghanistan’s World Bank-backed pistachio project and a 20,000-hectare rice venture in Nigeria. With a PhD in Agriculture, CMA qualification and GlobalG.A.P. Registered Trainer certification, he combines scientific depth with financial governance, ESG leadership and operational excellence. Across India, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Namibia, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Tanzania, Dr Khan has built advanced tissue culture labs, high-tech greenhouses and sustainable farming systems in arid regions using micro-irrigation, data analytics, climate control and ERP-driven oversight. He has championed organic farming, IPM, INM and GlobalG.A.P. compliance—while advocating gradual, structured transitions to sustainable agriculture, drawing lessons from the 2021 policy shift in Sri Lanka.
