Teardown Guide: 1. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 12 screws from the Bottom Cover: 12 - 6mm Length Screws 2. Using a Plastic Guitar Pick - Carefully Separate the Bottom Cover from the Palmrest. 3. Unplug the Battery. 4. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 2 screws from the Battery: 2 - 3mm Length Screws 5. After the Battery has been removed - unplug the Speakers. Lift them out. 6. Unplug the Daughterboard, LCD, Keyboard, Wi-Fi, and Touchpad Cables. 7. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 1 screw from the SSD: 1 - 4mm Length Screws 8. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 5 screws from the Touchpad: 5 - 2mm Large Flat Head Length Screws 9. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 4 screws from the Hinges: 4 - 6mm Length Screws 10. Angle the assembly upwards to release the Hinges. 11. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 2 screws from the Daughterboard: 2 - 4mm Length Screws 12. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 2 screws from the LED Board: 2 - 4mm Length Screws 13. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 4 screws from the Motherboard: 1 - 3mm Large Flat Head Length Screw 1 - 3mm Length Screw | 2 - 5mm Length Screw (Heatsink Fan Assembly) 14. Lift the Motherboard out. You may remove the Heatsink/Fan by unscrewing the 4 screws in the middle if you so desire. 15. Open the Chromebook to separate the LCD Assembly from the Palmrest. 16. Separate the Bezel from the Back Cover using a Plastic Guitar Pick. 17. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 4 screws from the LCD Panel: 4 - 3mm Length Screws 18. Lift the LCD Panel out and unplug the LCD/Camera Cable. Using a PH#1 screw bit - Remove a total of 8 screws from the Hinges: 8 - 3mm Length Screws 19. Once the Hinges are removed you can carefully pull the cable along the perimeter of the Back Cover and Unplug the Camera Board.
