Warcop Station, in Cumbria, is on the Eden Valley Railway. The yard is full of interesting carriages, locos and other rolling stock and I was lucky today to be given a private tour of the yard and station at Warcop. I had time also to take advantage of their offer of being a Driver for a Fiver – and what fun it was to drive a shunter along the line. My thanks go to the team at Warcop who have obviously worked hard to develop and maintain the site and rolling stock at the Eden Valley Railway, and to give me the tour around today.
