Sep 12, 2025 After I filmed the first set of videos on the day I filmed this from across the roadway, I moved to this side in hopes to film from my original angle of this crossing after the new beacons were installed here but a homeless camp crew in the sidewalk where I'm standing so I decided to film without a tripod here plus because I needed to get views of the trains passing through the Dos Rios Station Construction Area on the old track alignment and it barely all timed out right because all the trains were running late, off schedule. I would then not get an accurate video of this crossing anyway from this angle as a food truck would pull off the close or eastern side exit quad gate due to stopping in the crossing here. I'm not sure what happened but you are NOT supposed to stop on the tracks inside the crossing. They likely went through the crossing while there was yellow light and got caught by the red light after the crossing I'm not sure but it's something they did wrong to end up stopped in the crossing which doesn't happen here unless someone did something wrong. But it's likely they went through the first lights yellow because it's the only way I can see them stopping with the next light being red and end up illegally stopping inside the crossing. I also thought that the exit gate would not lower if a car is under it but apparently that's only for when a car is stuck inside and not under a gate. This is SacRT's only quad exit gate crossing on the system. I also got a view of the future new Dos Rios Station that is currently under construction and as you can see, the stations eastern outbound platform and outbound track is currently being built and the new outbound track will go active in the next couple of months as a temporary single track in the new alignment. Although I didn't get the appropriate video after the new beacons were installed from this angle, I have to come back and film this crossing again anyway before the 15 day construction closure of this line.
