When I saw that one of the musicians under Sacra Music was Kalafina, I knew I HAD to record a Kalafina song to audition for WACAVA. Kalafina is definitely one of my biggest inspirations as a singer, and as a musician/artist in general, so I wanted to really challenge myself to record this. It's one of my favourite Kalafina songs of all time, and I could never find an English cover, even over a decade later. I've been working on this on and off for THREE MONTHS because I really wanted to get it right hahaha, but I'm really happy with how it came out in the end! Of course, it isn't perfect (nothing ever is), but it's dang better than I expected it to turn out and I'm proud I managed to somehow pull this off. I hope I did the song justice! PLEASE do yourself a favour and listen to the original, it's just stunning and absolutely gorgeous. The visuals are incredible as well!    • Kalafina - Fairytale   Middle part I couldn't find the Kajiura lyrics so I improvised. I also...took a LOT of creative liberties with the lyrics. So I'm not claiming this translation is 100% accurate and please don't point out parts that are incorrect. I wanted to focus most of all on conveying the same emotion that I got from the original, rather than keeping the words strictly the same. To me, the most important part of this song was the emotion it carries, so that was what I focused on.
