Having to push back the newest project I've been working on I wanted to re-address some of my adventures back in 2016 where my friend and I visited a few abandoned locations in the Columbia River Gorge. I released a lot of this video back in 2017 but without much historic background (and a few inaccuracies along with that). In this one I look into the history of two particular places in the Gorge: the long abandoned Latourell House in the small community of Latourell and the ghost town of Bridal Veil. Both these communities once thrived during a boom in the lumber industry starting in the later 1800s but now there's not a whole lot left of what once was. Come along on this journey that's a combination taking a brief look at the history as well as showing some of that footage I shot a few years back.
