"Pure Griffith Build" Not really a "fun" build I recommend other players. It's a challenge build. By this, I mean somewhat Manga Accurate build. Which means: 1. No Magic Allowed (Griffith, from what I recall, never used magic. Also the community says that magic builds are the easy mode of Souls games, so we'll have none of that) 2. No Additional Items [only Crimson and Cerulean Tear Flasks] (technically, if I wanted to go Pure Griffith, I wouldn't use any items at all and not get hit. But the HP and FP flasks is the most bare bone I can go. This also means no Flask of Wondrous Physick) 3. Armour Load must be "Light Armour" (Griffith moves quick. Plus I did a Pure Guts Build before and I maintained him at "Medium Armour," so I wanted a "Light Armour" challenge to see how it would play out. Since it has to stay light, it helps justify why my Griffith run doesn't wear a helmet) 4. One handing Rapier Only + Piercing Fang Keen Affinity Ash of War (Griffith never dual wielded his Sabre, nor has he used another weapon in the Manga. Rapier is one of the weakest weapons in the game but it looks the most accurate, cough unlike the Bloody Helice cough. The Ash of War is pretty strong since it can close distances well, and I argue that it's a move Griffith would pull off. It's also not magic related. I noticed that Griffith's Sabre could be justified as a Katana, but all Katanas proc bleed build up, and bleed is too broken for this challenge run. So just the Thrusting Sword Rapier for this challenge) 5. No Applying Status Effects (Basically goes without saying with what I outlined above but I feel like stating it clearly. Can't use Poison, Scarlet Rot, Blood Loss, Frostbite, Sleep, Madness, Death Blight status effects) FYI. I already beat the base game with these rules, but I didn't set up the auto record feature on steam back then, so I have no footage of me beating the mandatory bosses in the base game, except for Mohg because he's mandatory for the DLC. 0:00 First Phase 1:43 Second Phase 4:07 Victory Dance 4:20 Build
