The immaculate B-29 Superfortress 'Doc' flew on the air show practice day May 13, 2022 at Fairchild Air Force Base near Spokane, Washington in advance of thge weekend's Skyfest air show and open house on base. Take a lingering look at the silver B-29 in flight. The B-25D Mitchell 'Grumpy', in British markings, made some passes, as did the F/A-18 and others. For the Rail side of Airailimages there's even a road switcher near the base in vintage Santa Fe markings. And the Thunderbirds flew a great low show, with an additional jet probably for photography.
