It's been a while since I've played Bubsy, so I decided to do a Full Longplay of the Sega Genesis version for this channel! While yeah, I've played it on the AtGames for this channel before, I've never really done a Full Longplay of it on there yet, but as of for now, I decided to play it via BizHawk. Now, since I played it on BizHawk, of course I decided to try the Record Movie function out, which means you'll never see me mess up in this game. Now, is it considered cheating? Well, maybe, since I did use rewind for the many times I went fast and died. But since I used said function, you'll never see the fails I've done in the longplay. And expect to rarely see me get hurt or fail in future longplays with BizHawk, though I guess I'll make some exceptions. As for the Sega Genesis version itself? Yeah, it's definitely worse than the SNES version. The graphics still look great, but some Boss palettes are messed up. The music & SFX aren't as great as the SNES version, and it's missing some music that was exclusive to the SNES version, but it's still tolerable. And I guess there are more bugs in this version too, maybe? But control wise, it seems to be the same as in the SNES version, with the downside of not being able to move the camera left and right while controlling Bubsy in-game at the same time. However, love it or hate it, it's pretty much the same Bubsy game that was on SNES, but for Sega Genesis hardware, and it's a little worse. In fact, sometimes I wonder if the Sega Genesis version was made first, and then the SNES version like with most multi-platform versions of the era. But aside from that, this was definitely a fun longplay to do, especially with BizHawk's great game recording feature. And yes, I forgot to end the longplay when the demo played since I was working on art when it got to that point, so yeah, I apologize for that error.
